TRUMPF QuickSharp Tool Grinding Machine

The QuickSharp tool grinding machine from TRUMPF is the perfect solution for grinding your punching tools. Including a digital display, it is characterized by the quality of the grinding process and the user-friendly operation. The main benefits are an automated and reliable grinding process, a simple tool tensioning, an outstanding surface quality with the front grinding process for long operating life and a simple regarding process.

With the TRUMPF QuickSharp tool grinder, tools are clamped directly into the machine - enabling mounted mutlitools to be sharpened - and angled punches can be aligned easily outside the machine. It is thus very simple to operate. Please note that this grinding machine is optimized for use on 1 and 2 straight and bevelled TRUMPF tools. The QuickSharp design allows surface grinding on punching tools such as punches and dies. Offering an ideal support for regrinding your punching tools, the amount of regrind is variably adjusted and boron grinding wheel produces a high-quality surface finish.

TRUMPF QuickSharp Technical Features

The tool grinding machine Quick Sharp is also quipped with a round magnetic chuck, a dresser, a coolant tank and pump, as well as a hydraulic tank. It can be completed with an adaptator for grinding flat/shear tools and a wheel dressing attachment. Characterized by its safe handling – especially when a lot of punching tools are in use and the tool wear is high -, the TRUMPF QuickSharp grinding machine is not only a fast machine;, but also has rapid readiness for production. With this tool grinder, the entire grinding process runs parallel to production and completely encapsulated inside the machine. In other words, the automatic wet grinding cycle is completely enclosed. Therefore, the tools are easy to set up and the length measurement is integrated via the Integrated Tool Management by TRUMPF, making the tool easy to clamb. Modified through the grinding process, the new tool data is thus automatically transferred. In addition, the thermal and mechanical load of the cutting edges is reduced to a minimum.
