MARIOTTI

Based near Turin, MARIOTTI is a manufacturer of handling equipment, which nowadays focuses on its range of  compact forklift vehicles and has a global sales network.

Global specialists in three wheeled forklift handling vehicles

The Italian firm MARIOTTI specializes in the manufacturing of  electric three wheeled forklift vehicles. The firm has been active in the handling sector since its founding by Vasco Mariotti in 1920. Growth took off after MARIOTTI was purchased by new owners in 1973, and the firm began to develop a range of custom-built lifting devices for modern industrial needs. Along with forklifts, these included equipment such as counter-weighted lift trucks and electric conveyors, but the firm began to focus more closely on smaller counter-weighted forklifts in the 1980s. Since then, MARIOTTI forklifts have established a significant position in the global forklift market, and around 70 percent of the firm's sales now come from abroad, including large amounts in the United States. This expansion has been based around continually innovating to produce nimble, small but powerful lifting vehicles with advanced steering systems to navigate industrial environments. Despite its global success, MARIOTTI still manufactures all of its products at its factory in Grugliasco near Turin. It has a broad technical capacity, producing forklifts in a range of sizes, and has a global distribution network to reach clients across the world. The firm continues to innovate, with a focus on reducing the size of forklift devices, and maintaining power at the same time.
