Based in Monza, Italy, BREVETTI STENDALTO is a leader in the field of cable protection, producing cable chains and sheaths for use all around the world.
About BREVETTI STENDALTO
As manufacturing processes began to evolve in the sixties, so too did the requirement for better protection for machine cables. Founded by Giovanni Mauri, BREVETTI STENDALTO Spa pioneered the use of nylon cable chains, which were lighter and more cost effective than the old style steel cable chains in use at the time.
This pioneering vision has seen BREVETTI, also known as BREVETTI STENDALTO, continue to come up with new innovations over the years, including the international patent for Robot circular chains in 1988 which brought the company recognition on a world-wide scale. The Robot series of cable chains are an integral part of many large telescopes at astronomical observatories in locations such as Chile. The company is now also heavily involved in large cable chain projects concerning offshore platforms and harbour crane equipment.
