What are chillers used for?
Chillers belong to the cooling technology. As refrigeration systems they are responsible for cooling fluids or dehumidifying air. The technology is also commonly used in air conditioning systems.
Chilled liquid is sent to heat exchangers in air handling units, which transfer latent heat from the air to the liquid, while at the same time dehumidifying the air to a large extent.
